The HiSET (High School Equivalency Test) exam assesses knowledge equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma. It consists of five core subjects<\/strong><\/a>, each delivered as a separate subtest. Skills include identifying main ideas, themes, author\u2019s purpose, inferences, and vocabulary in context.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Science<\/strong> (80 minutes, 60 multiple-choice): Spans life science, physical science, and earth\/space science.
